although contrast is always good in fashion (think plain t-shirt with metallic skirt, fancy dress with a leather bomber), sometimes it is more fun to go for the all-out glamorous look. for me, that means pairing sequins with fur, and maybe adding pearls and fabulous heels. messy hair or loads of mismatched bangles and rings can keep the outfit from looking too put together. remember the time to pull off these looks is when you are young and fabulous. turn a girls' night out into a chance to try out your newest looks. and if you are too nervous to wear something kinda crazy, remember the words of anna from the oc: confidence, cohen. xx
